30 or 31 OK 32 Days of Giveaways at IHAN

Are the Giveaways Over?

NOPE, NO Siree Bob......NOT Happin'

I have good news and bad news....which do you want first?

Half of you said Good and the other half said Bad....make up your minds will ya?  I'll go the Good News first.  The Giveaways continue....for one more day!!!  HURRAY!!!!!  The Bad News....the person who was to tabulate all the entries has not counted them.  So that leaves a whole lot of comments to be counted!!!

If you are impatient like me you will be tapping your fingers screaming at your screen, "count faster."  If you are laid back you'll be drinking some ice tea and enjoying yourself while I count :) I figure if you  took the time to leave a comment or go the extra mile and do other things for extra entries, you want those to be counted correctly and entered, right?  I thought that would be your response :)

I've read quite a few posts that said, "Pick Me."  For the record, I'm not picking anyone for the prizes.  Everyone names will go into a container, the container will be shook up, a random number will be generated at Random Numbers Generator and then we will count down to that number.  You can't get much more random than that!!!  I don't want anyone who put their comments in first or last to have less of a chance.  I'm one of those people who wants to win everything so I understand the excitement and wanting to know when the winners are named.  I will work as fast as I can but it may take me a day or so.  I'll keep everyone updated :)

The comments on all posts prior to this post will close at 10:00 PM CMT which is in one hour.  So if you want to hop over to something you missed and add a comment...go right ahead.  I will begin tabulating after 10:00 PM.

If you get tired of waiting....you can wander the isles of IHAN.  You just might discover all of the AccuQuilt products are on sale up to 35% off.   There are other items great notions on sale as well.

Tomorrow's Giveaways are open until I'm done counting all the entries.  Before I post the winners, I post everything that is in the Grand Prize Package!!!!

Smiles,
Kelly

  1. Good Job! I know it will be fair. Even though I would rather you just say "oh Gene is so nice, lets let him win"
    Fair is fair!

  11. Kelly, you totally rock. I love your method for choosing the winners! And if I lived near you, I'd be over to help you count (and not even sneak my name out for the 'right' drawings -- LOL). 12. I want to thank you as well. It has been fun, and I have learned about things I have never heard of either. But on the bad side, now I have things on my list that I MUST HAVE if I don't win them.
It would be interesting to see how many people actually entered all the contests. You have your hands full. I hope you have a box of timtams.

  16. You are so funny. I enjoy reading your blog and I'm a newbie.
I was going to come back and leave a comment on one of the giveaways...it was one where you asked us to tell of some chance meeting with someone interesting...well, I had to think about it for about half a day and then, this morning, I thought of someone. So, I was going to leave my comment with that story, but alas, I see you have closed all such comment. I'll tell you about my story anyway. Back in January, my husband and I attended a conference in Dallas, Tx. I live in South Florida. There was another couple there from Alabama and my husband started talking to the other husband. Come to find out, this couple's four children ALL play the harp and are VERY good. I mean, they have recorded cds and all. One of my daughters has been wanting to take harp lessons for a very long time, for years even. We had been praying for a harp teacher and a harp. I know absolutely nothing about harps, so much to learn. But, this couple really encouraged us and gave us a free cd of their children's beautiful music. They started emailing with us about what kind of harps are good for beginners, what sources to look at for finding used harps, etc. I feel like I know so much more than when I started in this whole process. Anyway, we quickly realized we would have to up our budget for a decent harp. I called a company that makes harps to ask their opinion of used harps, and they actually sell some used ones as part of their bounty program where you can upgrade to a more expensive one, getting credit for the purchase price of the first one. They had just received a one year-old harp in excellent condition that they had not listed on their website yet. It was at their factory being regulated and getting fresh strings. It is a model that sells very quickly (their least expensive one). This company is very well known and respected, having made harps since 1889. Yeah, that's a long time. So, we ended up buying that one and it should be delivered later today. Isn't that exciting? My daughter has had three lessons already with a harp teacher who is a young woman working on her doctorate in harp performance...did you know you could get a doctorate in harp performance? I didn't either. That's my story, just wish it had come to me yesterday before that giveaway ended. Oh, well. Maybe I'll be fortunate to win a different one. Thanks, Kathy

  17. Oh, and one more thing, my daughter who is playing the harp...is named Kelly. How about that for an ending? Yeah, really. She's the nine year-old pictured fourth from right on my blog header picture.
