I feel like a giveaway....what about you? Sometimes ya just HAVE to give something away. I went through my Quilt Market stash and came upon these two fat quarter stacks that I received from a lovely lady at Quilting Treasures. The first bundle is "Scrabble" by Hasbro and the second is "Laila" by Laura Ashley. Each stack has 4 fat quarters :)
If you would like to win one of these stacks please leave a comment on this post and tell me what you think you'll make with them. Remember, we are all entitled to change our minds...lol. This is going to be open to Blog Followers only. It pays to follow the IHAN blog!!
The drawing will take place on Monday, January 31st. Good luck! Only one entry per follower please.
Smiles,
Kelly
Would use the scrabble fabric to make game night pillows!!!

I have no idea what I would make with them. The scrabble would be nice for my daughter. She loves word games. Maybe a mug rug. Also my birthday is Jan 31. It would make a good present.
ReplyDeleteHi, I love the IHAN blog! I choose the Laila and I might just make my Kindle cover with those beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteI would make a square for my breakfast room table out of either. I love the purples in the LA fabric and the Scrabble fabric is too too cute!! PErfect for game night or Bunco.
ReplyDeleteI think I would use the fat quarters to make a quilt with one stack and a scrabble game quilt for my niece.
ReplyDeleteI love the purple fabrics. I see a table runner in my future. I am trying to make enough tablerunners that I can switch them out every month.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway.
well it would be a cute pillowcase with the scrabble fabric and an elegant one with the other. Either way, a pillowcase it is!
ReplyDeleteI would use the Laila to make make a purse for spring and possibly use the scrabble in a fun comfort quilt with coordinating TOT or prints. Please pick me! :-)
ReplyDeleteFirst?
ReplyDeleteOkay.
Usually, I make small one of a kind purses, totes, accessories, journal covrs.....Kindle or iPad sleeves. Etc.
If I would win this fabric , I would make a new purse for my daughter who is always looking for a new color in her purses.
ReplyDeleteI love Laura Ashley! Still have my wedding dress...made by her :-) and a comforter upstairs on the guest bed. I even have quilt charm squares ready to be put into a quilt. With fabric from Laila, I would definitely make a throw quilt and wrap myself up in it :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking!
That's easy, I have at least 3 scrappy purple projects in the works.....
ReplyDeleteOOH scrabble fat quarters aweSOME!! Thanks for your generous attitude:)
ReplyDeleteWell, if I won the Scrabble fabric, I would make a nice pillow for my mommy.. she is always playing Scrabble on-line, and I think she would get a real kick out of it. If I won the purple and green, I would make a nice pillow for my dd who just told me she painted her apartment in those colors.. she hasn't done much decorating other than that, so I think a throw pillow or two for her couch would be fantastic. Then the prize.. goes on.. and someone else gets a surprise.. I like that.
ReplyDeleteI am now a follower .. I thought I was before since I read your blog every day but .. anyway, I am working on a quilt for my daughter that is purple so the purples would be a great addition. The scrabble ones would be fun for mug rugs or placemats ..
ReplyDeleteI would love to make a scrabble pillow for my mother in law who is a huge scrabble player. And the purple would be perfect for the string quilt I've been planning with the purple I'm stashing!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful fabrics. I am loving that scrabble fabric. It would make a great notebook holder. Very cool. I will have to check out Quilting Treasures.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to win I would like the Scrabble line. I could use it in my I Spy hexie flowers!!
ReplyDelete"Laila" is beautiful, and would make a terrific couple of bags. I have been designing and would love to try it out. Thanks for the chance. I love my nearly daily IHAN reads. FUNNY! most of the time.
ReplyDeleteHi, I love both groups of fabrics. If I won the scrabble fabric, I would make a bag as a gift for one of my online scrabble partners. The Laura Ashley, I would covet for myself. I think they would make a great patchwork vest or jacket.
ReplyDeleteCarol
I never know what I'm going to make with a fabric until it tells me....grin.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love purple and green together, and would use them to make a new table dresser runner (is there such a thing?) for my bedroom. My kids are crazy about Scrabble and these would make a great throw for either of them.
ReplyDeleteNice fabrics! I think with either I would make some tote bags or little zipper bags.
ReplyDeleteI have no clue to what I'd make.
ReplyDeleteNice! The Scrabble fabric is cool, but those purples are lovely! Either way -- probably would make a quilt. :) On second thot - maybe a table runner for Game Night at our house. :) I'm a follower.
ReplyDeletePurse or add to a quilt. That's mostly what I make.
ReplyDeleteI would probably make mug rugs out of the Scrabble fabric for game night (we have the Deluxe edition). I would plan a quilt around the green and purple collection.
ReplyDeleteGee I am thinking note book covers"'' That was the first thing I thought of when I saw them" Gorgous!
ReplyDeleteEither collection would make great journal covers. Laurel Ashley has always been a favorite of mine from way back.
ReplyDeleteI'd use the alphabet ones to make some placemats and napkins for teachers in my union, and the purple ones, well, I guess those would make great gifts, too!
ReplyDeleteI have actually been LOOKING for super cute alphabet fabric for a project I'm working on for my kiddos...this would totally work!!!
ReplyDeleteHere's keeping my fingers crossed :)
I have a doll cradle that my Dad made me many years ago and I just found a small quilt pattern that I want to make for the cradle and the purple would be perfect.Have a great day.

The Laila fabric is beautiful and would make a great table for my living room which just happens to have plum colored walls.
ReplyDeleteThe Scrabble fabric would be a terrific lap quilt and the purple would make a cute purse.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what I would make. It would depend on which on I won. LOL But either one would be put to good use.
ReplyDeleteRosemary
Hi Kelly
ReplyDeleteLove the fabrics especially the Laura Ashley. My DD Kate is due to give us another grand baby in May, she is the purple girl in the family and this fabric would make a wonderful Lazy girl design Miranda bag that she could use
I would love to have the purple fabric and make something nice for my daughter that loves purple.
ReplyDeleteAlda, Fl
Well, I love the beautiful floral fabrics and gorgeous colors, but when I saw hasbro scrabble, the first thing I thought of was a charity quilt for the hasbro children's hospital.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Gee, if I won the Hasbro Scrabble, I think it would be great for making covers for a Kindle or iPad or even for a journal. (all things you read or write in.)
ReplyDeleteBut then the elegant Laila by Laura Ashley would be great for a fancy lap quilt for the living room.
I think I love them both.
I love Laila! I would make a table runner with it. Thanks for destashing with us!
ReplyDeleteohhhhh! The Laura Ashley fabric, for sure! Did you know that Jane Austen (the author) made a quilt? Does every quilter but me know this? Well, my Dear Daughter #2 is an English Major and LOVES LOVES LOVES Jane Austen. (Me? not so much). I did some research and discovered Jane Austen's quilt. Dear Daughter loves it. Dear Daughter also loves the color purple and all variations of purple. Therefore, I am in the process of making for her, her very own Jane Austen quilt ... out of PURPLE fabrics. Laura Ashley's bundle will fit right in .. and as Dear Daughter says, "you can never have too much purple." :-)
ReplyDeleteI am a HUGE purple fan, and I'm currently making a scrappy purple quilt for myself (!) so that's what I would use those FQs for. The Scrabble ones would be perfect for my teacher quilts in progress!
ReplyDeleteI love the Laila fabric and I think I would make a bag out of it,also the scrabble fabric would make a cute bag for shopping. Thanks for the chance to win. sandra

ReplyDeleteOh Scrabble me...please! I work for a company that sells games and I made a Monopoly wallhanging for the lobby and have been eyeing the Scrabble fabric for a while. This would be so perfect...could involve a raise too!
ReplyDeleteI love Laila!
ReplyDeleteWhat would I make with Laila?..I have tons of projects in my to-do-list but I think it would make a nice mug rug, tea cozy, table runner, place mat or maybe purse, pouches... Thanks Kelly :)
I am thinking that either one would make a great lap quilt. I belong to a little group that makes quilts for people who need a hug from God for whatever reason. I could just see a person in a nursing home just loving a lap quilt made from these!
ReplyDeleteLucky for me that I am a follower!! I really don't know what I would do with either bundles of fabric if I won... maybe some pillows or a table runner. Thanks for the chance!!

ReplyDeleteOh what would I make? Something for summer I would think!
ReplyDeleteHi--I read every post of yours on my MyYahoo reader. Love it! I love purples, and that calls out to be a new table runner for my front porch table with spring coming and all...but Scrabble? Oh, yeah. I homeschool my son, and not only do we PLAY Scrabble, but we use the tiles to take spelling tests and answer quizzes and I-don't-know-what-all. So that would have to be binder covers and pencil holders and all sorts of school accessories. Perfect!

ReplyDeleteLove Laura Ashley, those fabrics look like they would make lovely placemats or a table runner. I enjoy your blog so much, so of course I'm already a follower.
ReplyDeleteThe "Scrabble" fabric is fantastic. I might use it for pillow cases or placemats, not entirely sure.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance to win.
Carolyn
With the Scrabble fabric, I would make game peice bags for some of my sons' games where the peices seem to escape from their boxes.
ReplyDeleteSince I have absolutely no purple fabrics I would most likely add the purple fabrics to my stash.
Lovely fabric, Kelly! What would I make....a Christmas gift, of course! Not sure WHAT though. That's the hardest part!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric Kelly. I especially love the purples. But please don't count me in your giveaway. I just wanted to let you know I added it to my page where I share insights on contests & giveaways:http://sewcalgal.blogspot.com/p/giveaways.html

ReplyDeleteWith the scrabble I would make something for DH. One of first games we played before we were even dating was speed scrabble and we disagreed over the word "din." He kindly brought me a copy of a page with the word "din the next day. Now it is a big joke when our kids are making a "din."
ReplyDeleteIf I won the purple stuff it would be all mine. And I would make me a bag.
I have been subscribed to your feeds but this morning I thought I'd add my self to your list of Followers

Scrabble--a great charity quilt for our local guild --just looks like a great novelty print that could have the tiles laid out in some inspirational words.
ReplyDeleteLaura Ashley--the fabric makes me think of beautiful free motion feathers--I can only imagine how I would quilt it!
I have a pattern for a thread catcher while you are quilting and either of these would work great! And I have been wanting to make a couple of these - one for me and one for my quilter friend! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteTeri Dingler

ReplyDeleteI know a little girl with a purple bedroom--a Laila pillow would be lovely! As for the Scrabble? I loved playing that game with my grandmother and my mom after Christmas dinner (while the guy were off napping or doing other guy stuff LOL). So a fun little wall hanging--just for me ;D
ReplyDeleteI would use the laila fabrics for a table runner! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI would use the purple and green fabrics to make small bags.
ReplyDeleteWe are big scrabble fans here at the house. My 3 yr old son has a love affair with letters, so this is a no brainer for me. I would use these fabrics for a game tablecloth. I have one of those rotating scrabble boards on a lazy susan, on my Santa/hub list. I think this would not only protect the table, but keep wandering eyes from looking at the refection of the upright tiles in the high gloss finish of the table. Some call it cheating...I call it survival!! Great giveaway Kelly!!
ReplyDeleteOh my, yet ANOTHER advantage of being an IHAN blog follower! (as if there weren't enough already!)
ReplyDeleteGee, right off, I can see myself with a new handbag from the Laila bundle, or maybe a Kindle cover, and the Scrabble set? ReplyDeleteOh those are lovely. My mum loves purple so I'll make a bag for her.
ReplyDeleteKelly..you're the best when it comes to your readers. Thanks again. I think I'd make some mug rugs out of the Scrabble ones, and some pretty zipper bags out of the purple/greens.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun.
I think that I would make a tote bag with the Scrabble material for my Nook and the purple would make a great table topper. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThis ROCKS. I would make some bag/purse with these. Love them both. Have never seen the scrabble fabric before...what? There's fabric I've missed?!???? :-) joleehamlin[at] comcast [dot] net

ReplyDeleteLove the Laila fabrics! I would add them to a couple of purple Fat Quarters I have to make a lap quilt :)
ReplyDeleteMy grand daughter love purples and she has been begging for me to make her a new messenger bag so Laila might get transformed into something for her.
ReplyDeleteWow i've never seen those Hasbro fabrics before? They look so fun, i would make some softy toys for my daughter and possibly treat myself to a new bag with the others! :)
ReplyDeleteI would love a chance to win. Never saw either of those fabric lines before. Such fun!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love both of these collections. I'd probably make cute little zipper pouches to give to my board game-loving friends. Or maybe I'll keep them for myself.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved Laura Ashley and the purples would be great to make something for my wee one.
I would make a quilt of course! Just don't know how big or small or whether it would end up as a purse, wallhanging, tablerunner......I'm so decisive! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI would use the scrabble material to make a quilt for my 4yr old. He is learning to read. The Laila fabric would make a great baby quilt for my oldest's son's baby sister (we are a big happy family), whose name is Laila!
