Packing for Retreat Follow Up

Good news...there is one among us who has a wonderful packing list that can be copied and pasted or printed so we'll all have a check list.  That one is SewCalGal!  Click HERE for the link.  If you find the list helpful be sure to leave a comment thanking SewCalGal and if there is something you think would be valuable to include on the list you can also let her know.

Still packing ...but I do have a review to post about later today...so stay tuned.

Smiles,
Kelly

  2. I am so simple with packing these days. Ever since the trip to Africa with three friends....One of us found out that she had left all her toiletries behind in her bathroom at home, her summer clothes had shrunk for some reason....When we had to make due without washing water as well the party was complete! One of us had a comb and make-up, one of the guys actually had some gender neutral perfume....As my friend said in te (hot) car after four days of this: "As long as we keep our shoes on, it will all turn out allright!" That was one of the best trips I ever had. So I don't tend to worry about packing anymore!.

  5. I have for years always "packed on paper" a week or more before a trip so I had plenty of time to adjust as needed before actually packing my bags. First on my list is ALWAYS … travel docs - cash - credit cards. Second is camera etc … then it varies depending on trip but all is optional as long as I have the first three items and the clothes on my back haha.

In briefly glancing over the above list, I would add pincushion and a table top thread-snips collapsible trash (mine is made from leg of old jeans).
