Latest Project

I am on a roll here....this is my third quilt in 2 weeks...oh please...hold your applause :)

These fabrics have been waiting for the right "energy" (meaning I need deadlines to get my butt movin').  Here are some of the lay out ideas I've played with:


I'll be using white between the blocks and perhaps add some red or blue too...have not decided.  Which one do you like the best?

    I like your deadline thing... I'm laughing because I can *SO* identify. I like the 3rd. Can you mix it up with solids (or visual solids) in all three colors? Also see how black works with it, as I know there is a little bit of black in some. Holler if you need more. The shop here is having a buy two yards get one free sale.

    whoohoo!! I can relate to the deadline deal...they always motivate me, too! Congrats on getting so much done! Personally, I like #3 the best.

    I love this quilt! As far as settings go, I like where you're going with the second one. The third one's great too but I like that #2 doesn't line up in squares.

    My pick is the last one!!! Maybe a white strip... flanked by 2 thin red ones! or with blue and red... or well any combo of the 3 colors...

    I like Number 3 the best, with sashing in between and a border on all sides, of course.

    Wow! You're an inspiration to us all, Kelly! I'm voting for #2--and what if you put little navy blue blocks in those two empty spaces to square things up?

    I am British.......but live in the US. This made me homesick. Where did you get the Union Jack fabric and/or who makes it? I vote for layout 2
