Some of you wanted to see how I do my English Paper Piecing so here you go:
I'm not sure if it is my computer or what it is...but the video keeps stopping. Does anyone know why?
BTW....YES I"m still in LOVE with my Sizzix Vagabond :)

Darn!!! I just culled my fabrics and gave away a ton!!!! Wish I had thought to cut some strips and hexagons first.... for a hand project. Oh, well next time! Great video and it worked just fine (even here in notoriously slow Internet-South Africa), so it's a glitch on your computer.
ReplyDeleteI too am in love with your Sizzix Vagabond :)
ReplyDeleteThe video played perfectly here in Spain too---now I want to make some hexies :)
Thanks for the great tutorial. I have a Grandmother's Flower Garden that my mother started decades ago. I really need to finish it. I will have to adopt this technique or I will never dare to touch it.
ReplyDeleteVery cool Kelly. I didn't have any stops here. The video played smoothly.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly, wonderful video! I'm going to try these after seeing your video. My video didn't have any trouble running; it is your PC/Cable loading the video that causes the stop and go. Very smooth demo!! thanks so much for the info.
ReplyDeleteLove the video!! Great job!!
ReplyDeleteIt depends on your ISP it worked perfectly for me...YOU blessed woman you ..lol
ReplyDeleteKelly after seeing your video I am convinced to start this hand project. Thanks for sharing and giving me some incentive to get with it...LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat video! Love the vagabond. I should have gotten one of those instead of the manual sizzix. I didn't have any stops on my video either.
ReplyDeletecool machine and great tutorial.
ReplyDeletethe video did not stop at all while I watching.
Love the vagabond. And, your tutorial was great. Thanks for taking the time to do it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tutorial. You've definitely inspired me to play with the miniature Hexies. I'm currently working with 1 1/8" for a table topper.

no video issues on my end. You did great. BTW, it was good to hear your voice. I like your little hexie holder... how clever!
ReplyDeleteI didn't have any video issues--great tutorial! Sometimes just pausing the video to let it load will help with the stopping and starting. I love my Vagabond, too!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a sizzix...but I think my scrapbboker sister does...hmmm I may have to do some "borrowing". I've been cutting my tmeplates by hand out of the all those crazy subscription cards that come in magazines. Was serioulsy thinking about calling the quilt "Subscribe to This", lol!. But then reality set in and I knew a whole quilt made from pieces about the size of a dime was not in me(maybe if I had started when I was 20?). So now I just use the flowers I make as decs on other things. :)
ReplyDeletePerfect timing on the video as I am doing both a gfl and a dresden plate. Thank you so very much and btw the video was perfect, no stopping at all.

Video ran nicely. What a great machine. Those pieces were so smalllllll. Looks like lots of work to do all that hand stitching.
ReplyDeleteKelly you may need the video to catch up with your computer. Hit play and when it starts, hit pause and wait a few minutes and then play...see if that helps!
