Happy 4th of July

I hope this 4th of July finds you celebrating something joyful weather it be a great fireworks display or the joy of knowing you have access to electricity and are able to view this blog post....there's always something to be joyful about....or so I seem to think anyway :)

Today I'm celebrating!!!  Why?  Because last night I slept....yes...I slept through the night and that is a HUGE reason for me to celebrate.  I rarely get a full nights sleep since breaking my ankle.  It hurts 24/7 and I typically wake up several times a night.  But not last night....that's worth a year of fireworks to me :)

Hope you have a wonderful day find something great to celebrate.

YAAAAY! You've waited a long time for this day (or should I say NIGHT?) yaaay for you it's finally arrived. We ARE celebrating today - we are celebrating our wonderful country's freedom and ALL the privileges we've been blessed with - and electricity is certainly one of 'em! We'll rejoice by 2nd-coating the den (yes, even at $50 a gallon, the paint doesn't always cover up the old as well as I'd like it to.....sigh.), sewing and cutting the grass! yay. And if the storm(s) hold off long enough, we might squeeze in a swim before we grill the burgers! What a wonderful life!

Here's raising a glass (of lemonade!) to many more solid & restful nights!
