Remember those back packs for Quilt Market that Mary Jane made? Well, she just could not stop until every last scrap was gone. She made a camera bag and a Kleenex holder to go with her back pack and name badge. I can't wait to see if she embellished her underwear with the salvage edges. Perhaps a toe ring? Covered button earrings? Imagine what all we could do with those little scraps of fiber remaining.If I had brought my sewing machine with me I could have made myself a cool little camera bag too. I need one of those little tiny machines....hand held from the infomercials.....then I could sew up fun things over lunch.
