The fair is one of my favorite summer activities. Some are better than others for different reasons. The large county fairs in Califonia were bigger than many big State Fairs in some of the states I have lived in. I think how our communities are changing and the weather may have something to do with the lower turnout at all the fairs. Summer doings in Kentucky have been more fun this year. Unlike last year, no one was able to visit us and see our little slice of 'God Country'.
