Charity Quilt Finished and the Beam N Read Blog Hop

Not only is it finished....but thanks to Waldo...it was finished ahead of schedule.  I had a hard time finding a place to take a photograph because it is so long.
I hope it goes to a young woman who is very tall...it is one long twin quilt!
Here is a close up of one of the blocks.  I think it came out nice and there will be a young girl who will be absolutely thrilled to have a quilt of her very own.

Next project already underway and hopfully it will be finished soon so I can share photos.  It feels so good to finish a project doesn't it?

I hope you are having a great day today.  Before you log off your computer today be sure to stop over and  leave a comment for your chance to win a Beam N Read 6 LED Hands Free Light for yourself.  Today you can stop by and visit Barb and Susan's blogs.  If you are just finding out about the Beam N Read Blog Hop don't worry, you can go back and leave comments on all the posts by following the links below :)

I know I'm packing my Beam N Read to take with me to PA next week.  We have no electricity at our cabin so you know I'll be wearing mine all week so as not to step on any critters in the night..Yikes!

Smiles,
Kelly

  1. Well, if you are anything like me, you might have left your Beam N Read in with your stash. I think I could lose a small child in there sometimes! I am interested to see where you left your light. Let it shine free I say! Thanks for the chance to win a Beam N Read and I would love to have one with the magnifying lens, eyes just aren't what they use to be.

  6. The quilt is beautiful and someone is going to treasure it.

As for you taking your light with you to the cabin in PA, I don't know which sounds the best...that light or being in a cabin in PA without electricity for a week! Can I stow away in your suitcase?? lol

  8. That's a twin..it looks like a king size long...ok,, me being only 5 ft tall the size of small minute, I would take up 1/3 and be all covered. And you are giving this away...now that just melts me heart...off to bed I go...I know it is only 8:21 pm xx

  10. What a light! I have purchased several lights over the years that should have done the job.....but alas, they soon go unused because they aren't as good as advertised. This is my first visit to your blog. I like it.
