Pincushion Appeal by Cecile McPeak and Rachel Martin

The first time I laid eyes on this book it was mine...I just knew it.  Then I saw who wrote it and I knew why I loved it so much.  Cecile and Rachel from Just Another Button Company wrote this fun book!!

I do my very best not to "collect" too many things because the more you own, the more it owns you...right?  Salt and Pepper shakers are one of my weaknesses and the other is pincushions.  I love to give and receive them as they are so much fun.  Cecile and Rachel will tickle your pin cushion fancy with all the patterns they have in their new book, Pincushion Appeal.

I can't imagine a down day or being frustrated when looking at this heavenly mushroom including

 "embellished wonderments" (my term for Just Another Button Company's products).  Pincushions are my anti-depressants...LOL.  I just love them :)

Just Another Button Company's New Pin Keeps - My Oh My

Yes, I am a self proclaimed pin keep nut....I absolutely love them and I have to say I went "ga-ga" at Quilt Market for Just Another Button Company's (JABC) new Pin Keeps.

I felt bonded to each and every one of them....really....tell me you could resist...just go ahead and try.

Then there was the Peppermint King Fairy Spoolkeep....I felt like they were chocolates...who could stop at just one?  Clearly not me....I had to have all of them....it's true.

JABC has come out with kits that include everything you need to make all these wonderful Pin Keeps and Cushions....I feel like a MONGER....I want them ALL!!! ( Evil wicked laughter)

I better clean up my act before ole St. Nick comes along :)

I'd have a very hard time putting a pin in Santa....but I bet I could put some Just Pins to embellish him.

Looking at such  wonderments can cause strong feelings of want and desire...for the cutest things ever.

Cecile McPeak, owner of JABC, gave a Schoolhouse lecture at Quilt  Market.  I think she was very lucky to get through the entire presentation without me having a wonderment attack and grabbing every last thing she brought with her.

Just Another Button Company at Spring Quilt Market 2010

I'm still going working on Spring Quilt Market Posts and I'm in the middle of booking my trip for Fall Quilt Market in Houston.  Either I have to find a better way to automate my Market posts or I need to take fewer photos!!

This is Cecile McPeak from Just Another Button Company.  I love the button and pins from JABC because they are so fun and playful. 

Look at this scrap catch and pincushion.  Now, how can you not smile when looking at this little fella.  See....I didn't think you could....me either.

Then for your winter  stitching....another scrap keep and pincushion. 

How about this bird pincushion?  Now how can you not want one of these?  I don't care how many pincushions I own, I still want this pincushion.  Do you think I should seek help with my pincushion hording  issues?  Me either....don't turn me into the hording police and I won't turn you in....we can remain co-conspirators in the underworld of the hording community :)

These fun patterns can be found in Sew Necessary by Art To Heart.  The buttons and pins that coordinate with these fun projects are made by Just Another Button Company. 

The "Just Pins" from JABC are affectionately referred to as "Spanky Embellished Wonderments" by IHAN.  They are just too much fun to be called "Just Pins"....at least in my mind.

These are pincushion kits from Just Another Button Company.  Can you imagine getting one of these as a gift or better yet, giving one as a gift?  They sure are a pick-me-up and smile maker for sure.

I'm not sure who the gal on the left is but that is Cecile on the right.   Every time I think about her she sends me an e-mail or a letter.  Telepathic communications seem to keep occurring.  Recently I was thinking about Rachel, Cecile's daughter.  Just as I was asking about her Cecile told me that Rachel had just put a package in the mail to me.  Isn't that just so strange how that happens with some people?

How ever did I leave these out?  I absolutely love them.  Seriously now, can you imagine walking into your sewing area and seeing something so delightful and not feeling good?  If you can imagine that....see a doctor....preferable a Psychiatrist because you may have serious signs of Depression NOS. If you think they are ugly you definitely have had a Brief Psychotic Disorder!!! Seek Professional HELP FAST :)

As a matter of fact, Cecile sent me a kit and did I put it in the giveaway?  NOPE....not this time friends.  See what I mean....I want everything for myself.  But since it was not officially for the Giveaway....I get the pleasure of making it and showing it to everyone....but no touchie...sorry :(
