Day 27 of 30 Days of Giveaways - Just Another Button Company

Edited 4/12/10 - I must have been tired and left some of my favorite parts out....oops :)

IHAN's 30 Days of Giveaways
Anniversary Celebration
Day 27 Giveaway # 2
Just Pins
from Just Another Button Company

Cecile McPeak from Just Another Button Company calls these, "Just Pins."  IHAN calls them "Pretty Darn Spanky Embellished Wonderments."  I can't help it....they are just toooo much fun.  Several weeks ago Cecile sent me a wonderful package that included these pins.  Now, you must know I could not part with everything she gave me....I'm sorry but sometimes a girl has to do what a girl has to do!!!  (I can get away with this because she sent them as a gift without knowing about the 30 Days of Giveaways :).

Just Another Button Company also makes wonderful buttons for embellishing needle art projects, wall hangings, quilts, clothing and pin cushions of course!!!

These buttons are just so fantastic.  There are so many patterns available using Just Another Button Company buttons as embellishments.  Look at this Tea Pot Series:
Who would not smile with delight when looking at the Tea Pot Series.  The embellishments really make this design extra special.

Edit begins here :)  I must have been very tired after our trip because I forgot some of my absolute favorite photos...so here they are :

How ever did I leave these out?  I absolutely love them.  Seriously now, can you imagine walking into your sewing area and seeing something so delightful and not feeling good?  If you can imagine that....see a doctor....preferable a Psychiatrist because you may have serious signs of Depression NOS. If you think they are ugly you definitely have had a Brief Psychotic Disorder!!! Seek Professional HELP FAST :)

As a matter of fact, Cecile sent me a kit and did I put it in the giveaway?  NOPE....not this time friends.  See what I mean....I want everything for myself.  But since it was not officially for the Giveaway....I get the pleasure of making it and showing it to everyone....but no touchie...sorry :(

Thank you Just Another Button Company for joining IHAN in our Anniversary Celebration!!!

If you would like to win one of the Just Pins pictured above please leave a comment on this post telling us why you would like to win them and where you plan to use them.  You can also tell us which pins you would like to win if you like.

Smiles,
Kelly
PS...part of the edit....I can tell many of you are scanning the giveaways and not reading the posts...(you may just miss out on some fun....or the cue that you need to seek medical help, LOL)  This giveaway is for the three sets of Just Pins....not the buttons or the sample Tea Pot Series.  If you want your comment to qualify, each comment needs to be in response to the requested comment.

I'd like to have some of the bees and the flowers-after all we need bees to fertilize the flowers :) I have this big green velvet pumpkin that my mom gave me. I keep special pins and charms on it. So a few of those bees buzzing around or some flowers popping up here or there would be a great addition.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I plan to make a few very beautiful pin cushions to display around my home because sewing is my lifelong pasttime and also to give as gifts. 116. I didn't even realize such beautiful pins existed! I'm thinking perhaps they would work well in a shadow box type of thing...Is that what they are still called, or is that a 1970's term? A 3-D scrapbook type of thing in a frame?

    ReplyDelete
  117. I had visited this website about a month ago...and drooled! If I win the pins, I will make some of the pincushions that I have seen featured on the site and then use them as the raffle prize in my quilt club. We are trying to earn enough money to plan some out of this world programs for next fall.

    ReplyDelete

  119. Of course, the best medical advice would suggest to surround myself with items to cheer the soul. My favorite pincushion is the acorn (because the others just plain make me hungry). Between it and the bees pins, I could envision myself outside instead of my basement sewing area. Thanks!
    Sarah

    ReplyDelete
  120. I've used some of their pins in my projects -- I love them. They really are just so cute. I've been making pincushions lately and it would be fun to make some particularly to go with -- wouldn't a little flowered or beehive style pin look cute with those bee pins? And, well, summer's a coming so the flowers are awfully tempting, too!

    ReplyDelete
  121. I would have to make some cute woolen pin cushions to have the pins in. Definitely adorable and fun to see on my work table!

    ReplyDelete

  126. Great pins! I especially love the flower power set. They would liven up my pin cushion for sure. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  127. I love these pins. Especially the flower ones.

Actually I would probably use them to send as little gifts along with some vintage doilies or handkerchiefs.

I think that would make a lovely present and an interesting way to attach the item to a card.

    ReplyDelete
  128. These are adorable...all of them, but espcially the bees. If I won these, I would just put them where I could see them often for a lengthy introductory spell, making a variety of plans for their use and enjoying the tactile and visual presence of them. Eventually I would be compelled to share them in a yet to be determined project. Oh, the joy of indecision.

  131. What a fun giveaway. I think my favorite of the pins would be the little bees. I have some really cute fabric with sunflowers and bees that these pins would match perfectly with!

  138. Those pins are gorgeous. If I win, I would probably use them in scrapbooking projects rather than in quilting. They would be great accents on pages. And which ones? hard to pick, but the bunnies and carrots would certainly embellish an easter page and the flowers would add great color to a page of the granddaughters. This is a great giveaway.

  148. Cecile's creations really are "Pretty Darn Spanky Embellished Wonderments"!

I can see that each of her designs inspire lots of great ideas. I'm picturing the bees on a beehive pin cushion made by experimenting with felted wool roving.

    A honey of a Day 27!
