Day 15 of 30 Days of Giveaways - QuiltWoman.com

IHAN's 30 Days of Giveaways
Anniversary Celebration
Day 15 Giveaway
Nancy Dill, Owner

Anyone remember this picture?  These are the women who "saved my life" in Pittsburgh.  Carol, Lacey and Nancy were the ones who I approached on the streets of Pittsburgh and asked if they were familiar with the area.  I had gotten turned around and could not find where I had parked and it was after 10 PM.  They were so kind to help me find my van and then they waited until I got in and left.  I could still be wandering the streets of Pittsburgh if it were not for these lovely ladies.

Since that time I've had the pleasure of meeting up with them again and chatting with them over the Internet.  I posted recently on the recognition Nancy received from American Express for the "Make Mine A Million Dollar Business Competition" and she was one of 10 awardees at the American Express Open Women’s Business Summit in Houston, Texas.

Nancy also owns Betty's Quilting Etc. I am telling you she is one busy woman!!!   I don't know weather to scratch my watch or wind my butt most of the time.  I guess I need to learn how Nancy does it all :)

One thing I can tell you, she did send 10 wonderful patterns to be given away to 10 very lucky IHAN blog readers!!!  Here they are:
The top 10 patterns of 2009 for QuiltWoman were:

Very cool patterns indeed!!!  Speaking of cool.....in January when it is cold here....I mean freezing and the skys are grey and dark.....you could join QuiltWoman on their
First Annual Quilter's Family and Friends Cruise.  They are going to the Western Caribbean, January 15 - 20, 2011.  NO we are not giving away a cruise (I would have to draw my own name for that one folks!!!)....but if you want to join them...click here for more  details. Can you imagine the fun of stitching with a group of wonderful friends on a cruise ship?  Oh I'm going to be busy when my co-workers get older!!

Back to the giveaway!!!  To enter to win one of QuiltWoman's  patterns please leave a comment telling us which patterns you would like to win and why.  Two of the patterns will be put into the Grand Prize Drawing so that leaves 8 lucky people for this drawing.

Thank you QuiltWoman / Nancy Dill for giving 8 IHAN blog readers this wonderful opportunity:)

Smiles,
Kelly

Tuck Away Tote
looks like stuff I am doing already. would be fun to see a new approach.

I would like either Table Graces or Take Four as my placemats are not very attractive (all the sets I have are old) and I really need more!

WOW!! Let's see...so many cool choices....

The Table Graces or the Take Four Placemants are NEEDED! But, I'm in a Batik Swap, so the Batik Diamonds is needed.(lol!) The Tuck Away Tote is just too cute, who wouldn't love to have it? The Prairie Window, Trophy Case, and Stoneworks, would be perfect to have for the "next" project.

Thanks for the great giveaway!!

I already have the tuck-a-away tote bag pattern and it has easy to follow directions and it does tuck away nicely in one's purse. The checkout clerks are always impressed when I bring that bag.
I would love to win Windows on the East and The Humbug Bag...actually, all of these patterns look to be fun to make!

Jelly Patch Straight To The Point Series by Ann Anderson. Beautiful! I would love to make a quilt with Jelly rolls to see how I would like doing that.

the writer said...

I would like to win either the Table Graces or Take Four Placemats pattern.

My reasons. . . I've been working very hard on getting the house cleared out & cleaned up. I think having pretty placemats on the table will stop both DH & I from just piling stuff on the first clear surface we come to when we come home!

Quilting_Chris said...

What a lucky day to have these lovely ladies come to your rescue. It was meant to be having your paths cross.

Well, because you said the cruise wasn't a give-away, (I have to go check out the web link) and yes, I think you should go because of all you do. I would surely love to win Jelly Patch Straight to the Point or Stoneworks. Both are lovely.

Let's see--Window on the East would be a great way to showcase some large scale floral fabric I have. I could do that with Barb's Trophy Case too-cool layout. I could really use some of those Humbug bags for my trips to the library. I could put all those little extras I think I need and my wallet right in my book tote and leave my pocketbook at home!! Awesome giveaway!

Elizabeth said...

What lovely ladies! And the cruise sounds like so much fun! The patterns that really catch my eye are 'Stoneworks,' 'Take Four Placemats,' 'Jelly Patch: Straight to the Point,' and 'Table Graces.' The two placemat patterns b/c I'm in the middle of a project for sprucing up my kitchen and would love some pretty table designs, and the Stoneworks and Jelly Patch are very pretty, patchy designs. I'm guessing Jelly Patch is done with a jelly roll and those have just recently captured my attention. Great giveaway! Thanks so much! Can't wait for the 16th.
