Just Another Button Company at Spring Quilt Market 2010

I'm still going working on Spring Quilt Market Posts and I'm in the middle of booking my trip for Fall Quilt Market in Houston.  Either I have to find a better way to automate my Market posts or I need to take fewer photos!!

This is Cecile McPeak from Just Another Button Company.  I love the button and pins from JABC because they are so fun and playful.

Look at this scrap catch and pincushion.  Now, how can you not smile when looking at this little fella.  See....I didn't think you could....me either.
Then for your winter  stitching....another scrap keep and pincushion.

How about this bird pincushion?  Now how can you not want one of these?  I don't care how many pincushions I own, I still want this pincushion.  Do you think I should seek help with my pincushion hording  issues?  Me either....don't turn me into the hording police and I won't turn you in....we can remain co-conspirators in the underworld of the hording community :)

These fun patterns can be found in Sew Necessary by Art To Heart.  The buttons and pins that coordinate with these fun projects are made by Just Another Button Company

The "Just Pins" from JABC are affectionately referred to as "Spanky Embellished Wonderments" by IHAN.  They are just too much fun to be called "Just Pins"....at least in my mind.

These are pincushion kits from Just Another Button Company.  Can you imagine getting one of these as a gift or better yet, giving one as a gift?  They sure are a pick-me-up and smile maker for sure.

These are new this year, Just Clips.  These are my favorite here....look at those little pea faces.

Isn't this button bracelet great?  JABC has kits to make your own bracelets as well!!

Here is a photo of a few more of the bracelets.
I'm not sure who the gal on the left is but that is Cecile on the right.   Every time I think about her she sends me an e-mail or a letter.  Telepathic communications seem to keep occurring.  Recently I was thinking about Rachel, Cecile's daughter.  Just as I was asking about her Cecile told me that Rachel had just put a package in the mail to me.  Isn't that just so strange how that happens with some people?

My next post will be about Rachel and her new adventure!!!  Stay tuned :)

If you would like to be the lucky owner of the Orange Lemonade Just Pins from Just Another Button Company than leave me a comment on this post.  What fun place you plan on using your Just Pins.?
I will draw a winner on Tuesday night.

By the way, IHAN only has the Just Pins line and some of the JABC buttons.  If you are interested in the pin  cushion kits, Just Clips or bracelet kits please e-mail me at IHaveANotion@yahoo.com and I will get them for you.

Just Smiles,
Kelly

We had a pincushion swap in our quilt guild this year...I think I would send the pins along to the wonderfully nice and helpful lady that received my pincushion. Of course I would drool all over them first...maybe by then she wouldn't want them... ;)

Those are too cute. I really need to make me some more pin cushions. I promise if I win these I won't let my 5 yo take them to pick splinters out of his feet. Everytime I turn around my barefoot boy is using my sewing pins on his feet. These would be residing on a brand new pincushion made in their honor and only used by me! Promise

How cute they are! What a great way to brighten up the day, looking at them in the pin cushion or using them to hold some great fabrics!

I've been looking at a wool flower pincushion pattern and trying to decide if I wanted to make it. Winning the pins would be great motivation.

ooooh Kelly, wouldn't those oranges look just too cute in my Green Apple pin cushion. Of course I would use them also to pin blocks on the fabric divider I use as a design wall/block storage area.

Do NOT stop taking so many market pics. *S*.....I love being able to still see new booths and products all the way up to the fall show.

I really like that bird pincushion. I have my small cushions almost filled with pretty pins - it might be time to make a new one, huh? I have a whole bag of lizard litter for filling.

I love the 'pail of water' pincushion with the oh-so-cute sunglasses and flipflop pins! I also love the bird pincushion. If I win these pins I will have to make a new pincushion to give them a special place.

Orange Lemonade--mmmmm yummy! I will need to create a new pincushion just for those pins. Oranges, browns maybe a little green and yellow, some embroidery--hmmmm Should I use fabric or wool or maybe a combo

Hi, Kelly--I have the perfect jacket to go with these fun pins. So I would use them a a fun little bunch of lapel pins to "loosen up" a classic linen-y blazer. Smiles.

I would like to say that I would give these pins away as a gift, but I'm not sure I would be able to. I think I would want them in my own pincushion to make me smile every time I see them! dsb448@att.net
