I think the "Be You" Isacord Thread Collection" would be fun with this as well. With all this silk and thread....I'm thinking St. Peter is going to be asking some questions at the pearly gates soon....I'm seeing a bright light in the distance....(just kidding).
I don't have an embroidery machine but I have used Isacord thread with some of my punchneedle projects. I really like the shine and color...it gives a piece some pop.
Darlene has an embroidery machine and this is what she has to say about Isacord thread:
Kelly,
I just wanted to let you know how happy I am that you carry Isacord threads. I have been using Isacord thread for machine embroidery for many years, and in recent years have even been using it for machine quilting. It is a high quality thread that comes in a variety of colors. But I love how easy it is to work with and how well it holds up. I highly too recommend Isacord thread!
Darlene aka SewCalGal
These are some samples of machine embroidery using Isacord thread. (bottom is unfinished....but it was so pretty I could not resist posting it)
I think these are cheerful, don't you?
Isacord is the thread of choice for maximum productivity and the highest quality embroidery among the largest embroidery houses. At nearly twice the strength of rayon thread, Isacord is the smoothest running and most reliable polyester thread produced. It has been engineered from the finest raw materials to provide just the right amount of elasticity to allow for high speed running without looping or puckering while virtually eliminating thread breaks. Isacord is available in 1,000 and 5,000 meter mini-kingspools featuring a unique snap down base for clean and easy storage

ReplyDeleteHow awesome to win this!

ReplyDeleteI do love Isacord thread. While I'm really happy to see so many people excited to win it, I do wish more people realized Isacord is a wonderful thread and has more uses than just machine embroidery. I really do love to use it for free hand machine quilting and decorative stitching, in general. Lovely thread. In fact, I'm working on decorating some table runners for Easter using Isacord!

I should win this because I haven't won anything else so far and I'm beginning to feel like "loser" instead of "not a winner" if you catch my drift.
ReplyDeleteBut, on the off chance that I have actually won something, then you should give it to Gene Black because that guy is REALLY wanting it. And, he knows the correct way to spell fun (wink, wink)!!♥
Lovely thread and the lucky winner will be in 7th heaven. Which would be great if it were me but if not me I agree Gene should get it, his post is witty!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYummy, yummy threads and colors.
ReplyDeleteI too do not have an embroidery machine but I have done some free motion accenting on my pictorial wall hangings. As usually another great give-away.
Elaine

ReplyDeleteOkay, THIS is it! I LOVE Isacord. It is the ONLY thread I use to embroider. And I LOVE how it works when sewing fancy stitches. I often wonder why more people don't use it for that "punch" they want to achieve when adding embellishing stitches.
Isacord is the thread of choice for me...period.
I would love to win this collection of threads. That way I can play and create to my heart's content. Thank you. Take care and God bless, Cory
