Day 28 of 30 Days of Giveaways - GO! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter

IHAN's 30 Days of Giveaways
Anniversary Celebration
Day 28

Ok IHAN Blog readers....it is time to put on your safety belts.  Remember the cushion you are sitting on is not a flotation devise...so don't count on it to keep you from falling out of your chair and drowning in your coffee or soft drink.  A seat-belt is highly recommended!!

Don't say the Dummies didn't tell you to put on your seat belt.  If you find yourself on the floor....it not our responsibility (our lawyers confirmed this a lie) you've been forewarned.  Everyone safe and secure now?  Ok....lets proceed.

AccuQuilt  has joined the IHAN First Anniversary celebration and one lucky IHAN blog reader will be receiving an Go! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter  delivered to their home.

(Ouch....all that hooping and hollering just broke my ear drum.  Guess I need more than a seat belt....I need ear plugs too.)

Seriously now, you know why I find this exciting?  Because I thought I would never buy a GO! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter .  Then I joined in an I-Spy block exchange on Karen's blog, Sew Many Ways. I cut out 120 4 1/2 inch I-Spy squares.  I put them in piles and noticed they were not all the same size.  I was so frustrated because I had used the same ruler and I am very careful.  No wonder my squares get weird....it is very difficult to be accurate when cutting no matter how hard I tried.  I knew I could put a fix to that situation and I bought the GO! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter.  Now all my squares are exactly the same size!!!  I have found cutting my fabric is much less of a chore and I get excited about knowing everything will work out because my cuts are precise.

These are some examples of the dies currently available for the GO! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter.  To view all the dies you can click here.

There are great project sheets (yummy recipes) on AccuQuilt's website.  I used a project sheet that was included in their Newsletter and made this wall hanging to celebrate a 10th Wedding Anniversary.

I just ironed on Mistyfuse (works great with the GO! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter because it is so nice and soft) and cut out my hearts, ironed them on .

These New Dies (coming out in May) were inspired by "some of the quilt industry's most influential and premier quilters, Alex Anderson, Ricky Tims, Eleanor Burns and Sharon Pedersonare" according to AccuQuilt.

Arabesque #2 by Ricky Tims
Arabesque #3 by Ricky Tims
Quarter Square-4" Finished Triangle by Alex Anderson
Bountiful Baskets by Alex Anderson
Blazing Stars by Eleanor Burns
Rose of Sharon by Sharon Pederson

These new dies are so exciting and fun.  I am inspired by the designs and the Project Sheets because I try things I'd otherwise not even attempt.  I probably would never have made a my heart wall hanging.  I would have been frustrated that my hearts were not all the right size and then it would not look nice on the wall.  The GO! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter gives me more confidence that my projects will be uniform when I'm finished (that's not to say I still can't mess them up...I won't go into that...LOL).

If you are a visual learner like me, you will appreciate all the GO!AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter videos offered by AccuQuilt.  I find videos much more user-friendly than written instructions.

Thank you AccuQuilt for celebrating with IHAN!!!

One very lucky IHAN blog reader will have the GO! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter  shipped to them directly.  To enter today's giveaway you must leave a comment on this post telling us how you think having the GO! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter will inspire your creations.

AccuQuilt gives away a 100.00 Gift Certificate every month to Newsletter Subscribers!!! I'm a fan on their Facebook page....if you join....you know you'll be in good company :)

If you want to have 10 extra entries for today's giveaways....scroll down and read yesterdays post.

Smiles,
Kelly

  1. That's so fabulous! Thanks so much to IHAN for doing this giveaway and to AccuQuilt for celebrating as well.

Right now, I only do quilting that I can cut with a rotary cutter. I tend towards rectangles and squares because they're so easy. It would be awesome to do applique projects with some of these different shapes that are available! I didn't realize that there were such cool dies that could be used to make the various shapes. I had thought that it just cut squares, which would be handy, but which I can really do myself. I love the hearts. I could use them on so many projects!

  3. I would love to do more applique, but it's so tedious to cut out, so having this would make it so much easier.

  4. Thanks so much for the awesome giveaway! I know I could put this to good use. I have a hard time with accuracy using just a ruler and rotary cutter, so this product would make my seems much more accurate.

  9. I'm fairly certain an AccuQuilt Go would change me completely as a quilter. I tend to stay away from quilts where I have to cut out lots of little uniform shapes because they never come out .... the same... this would really open up new doors for me. Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway!

  10. I'd love to do more applique, but I'm not very steady with the scissors! An AccuQuilt Go would definitely help with that problem. Thanks for a great giveaway!!

  12. This is an amazing give away! I would love to be able to use an AccuQuilt Go, I have tons of project ideas but not as much time to cut as I would like (plus two kiddos under two who like to hang on my legs while I try to cut). This would so free me up to be much more creative in my quilting and sewing!

I also linked up to the McLinky yesterday. Thanks for the opportunity!

  15. Wow, what a fabulous give-away. I saw the AccuQuilt demo recently at the Lancaster AQS show. I love it. I do a lot of charity quilts, and this would be a fabulous help to putting together kits for the quilters that donate their valuable time and expertise.

  19. To win an Accuquilt Go would be the very best! I know without a doubt that it would inspire me to break out that fabric and quilt. I just cannot cut a precise piece with a rotary cutter and get so frustrated. And now, as I have developed 3 pinched nerves in my neck along with Fibromyalgia cutting a lot with a rotary cutter just causes me oh so much pain. If I had the cutter my life would be made much easier, less painful and much more happier because I could piece beautiful quilts with the Accuquilt Go!

  21. I have been drooling over the AccuQuilt go for some time now. It would greatly improve the quality of my cuts and save me time. I work full time and have very little to devote to quilting. I read the post about the pins being what was given away and not the buttons. I have also blogged about this give away on Inchworm Fabrics blog and put a link to your blog and store on there. I also would like to thank you and your sponsers for the great giveaway. You have my sister from bejeweled quilts to thank for me becoming a fan of IHAN.

  28. Well, I don't have a blog. I don't twitter. I just don't do all those things. But thanks for a chance at winning the AccuQuilt Go. What fun this would be! Most of my quilts are done with the rotary cutter but they sure could be zazzed up with a few of those die cuts. This is the best giveaway yet!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yep, know what you mean about your squares not coming out all the same size! I think that would be the best part of the AccuQuilt Go. Not to mention all the dies they have and are adding.

  56. I left a comment on the last AccuQuilt post. Having this cutter would make it so much easier to do more complex quilts and to make them even faster so that my family and friends wouldn't have to wait so long for their gifts, lol! Also, it would be nice to have the cuts more precise and to learn new techniques. This is on my list of things I desire to have in my quilt sanctuary but right now is out of my budget so a win would be a fantastic surprise for me!

  59. I have been wanting one of these for quite some time. Not really for myself, but for my Mom! At 72 years young, she has trouble cutting her fabric. Please mail it to me! I would be more than happy to deliver it right to her door!

    ReplyDelete
  60. WOW - it just keeps getting better & better. If I won the GO Accuquilt Fabric Cutter, the possibilities would be endless. But best of all my fabric would be cut accurately in all kinds of wonderful shapes that I would never attempt otherwise. Thanks so much for the opportunity to enter.

    ReplyDelete
  61. If I didn't have to hum and haw and procrastinate about cutting, I'm both a klutz and have trouble lining up my rulers perfectly. I think I'd get a LOT more done with one of these!

    ReplyDelete
  62. I would love the Go! AccuQuilt Cutter as I don't like using templates when cutting with a rotary cutter and have problems with my hands that makes using scissors almost impossible. It would open a whole new world of quilting for me with all the different shapes available!

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'm thinking that I would probably have to purchase all the wonderful die sets you offer on this site if I won. I think I would just go crazy with this. I am so in love.

  64. Having one of these The Go would drastically reduce my cutting time and I could spend more time on putting my works of art together. Not only that but my mom who is 76 could spend more time on her applique as it would cut down on her time for cutting out the motifs and such. There is no way you could have one of these and not be inspired to quilt more than ever. It would allow me to concentrate on the design more than the cut work as I call it. This would make it so much easier for me. Thank you for such a generous giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  65. What a great giveaway!!! I would love the chance to win this amazing machine. Just became a new follower too. thank you!!!

  66. Just looking at the dies you've shown are inspiring! I'd so love to have all my squares be the same. No more worries! 70. I love to do swaps it would be so nice to know that what I send is the exact right size!! and all the shapes!!! Wow!

    ReplyDelete
  71. You're right. I almost can't stand it! *L* I want this so MUCH. Just to rev up my accuracy, like you said. No matter how careful - there is always a little difference. And I love to applique.

I can't cut worth a darn and I often have to start all over, wasting fabric and time. I really want to try and make fancy applique quilts and maybe other appliqued items but I've been too scared to try because I just stink at cutting.
THANK YOU for the chance to win!!!

  77. I just started making quilts and love it. However, cutting with a rotary tool and myself do not get along! I blame the rotary!! Anyway, I can just imagine how easy and how much more fun it would be using the Go!AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I was just looking at the GO! recently, thinking how much fun it would be. But mostly I KNOW that the GO! would actually inspire me to get started on so many of the projects I'd like to do, that are sitting waiting to be done, but I dread the cutting .... I would definitely quilt more. Looks like lots of fun and handy too!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I find it difficult to cut consistent curves for my applique. No big deal for primitive projects, but when I want a bunch of flowers or circles or leaves that all have the same shape--aargh! The dies that are available are so awesome that precision pieces might just show up in my projects a little more often.

    ReplyDelete
  84. You are right, all of us want the AccuQuilt. I'm getting inspired just reading your post. I think the dies and project sheets would lead me to some adventurous sewing and not just for quilting. I can see the designs on pillows, potholders, apron, greeting cards, childrens' clothing and doll clothing. It's a wonderful tool. Thank you for the chance to win it.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I'm getting better at sewing an accurate 1/4" seam, but my cutting leaves much to be desired. To have both accurately cut fabic and nice seams - a match made in heaven! This is an awesome giveaway and I can only dream!!!

  86. I am wanting to start applique - so it would be nice to start off right, Thanks for hosting the giveaways!!!

  87. I think having a "Go! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter" would be ALOT easier on my hands. I have severe Arthritis that I must have monthly IV treatments. Using a rotary cutter has become difficult for me to use.
I have recently visited a local quilt shop to look at and try the "Go". I LOVE IT and would love to own one soon! Just seeing how this works, has motivated me to plan for future quilts for my Grandchildren and other family members. I can see how this will help cutting fabrics accurately.
I also would love to share using this with my Mother who loves to quilt also.
Thank you for creating the "Go AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter" and all the wonderful "dies" that can be used with it.

  89. What a terrific qive away. I would love to win this because I want to quilt more than anything but I am not a very careful person so I am afraid to try because I know my pieces will not be perfect, I think this could be the answer to getting things cut correctly. Loving those adorable pincushions that you added to yesterdays post, how sweet are they??

    ReplyDelete
  90. Love scrappy quilts and with the Go Cutter I could layer the different fabrics and cut all the pieces at once. Besides it sounds easier on my hands since I have arthritis in several fingers now which makes rotary cutting a problem at times.

    ReplyDelete
  91. OH WOW What a giveaway!! There are so many things I'd love to do with a GO cutter. I wish I could make more quilts, but I never have the time - with a GO I could really shorten the time getting quilts cut & would make more!!

And I posted on FB already (will go to my blogspot next and post there too) Thanks for having this contest!!!

  92. WoW! A GO!AccuQuilt would certainly inspire me to try quilts with more intricate applique! I HATE cutting! I hate cutting squares so I don't even THINK about cutting out anything more complex. :) I think the first thing I would try is the Stretched Stars project, I shy away from triangles but would not have to worry with one of these!

    ReplyDelete
  93. AccuQuilt Fabric cutter would speed up my prep time of cutting and re-cutting....LOL.....I could get to sewing much faster.....also the wonderful unique shapes allows for more creative blocks.
I read the previous post about the wonderful Just Pins giveaway.....I love shopping for pins but have tried to limit myself to fat quarters this year.....we'll see how that works for me.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Thank you, Accuquilt for a fantastic state of the art product. I love the Go! cutter, and cant wait to get my hands on one of my own. It is extremely frustrating to cut and cut and cut as cautiously as possible only to find out that your pieces arent the same size.
Accuracy is the word!! Love the Go cutter.

    ReplyDelete
  95. my friend got the original AccuCut last year & i got to borrow it....all i can say is WOW!!! i really don't have the space for the big unit however. i've toyed with the idea of getting the "GO" but i just can't justify spending that much at this time, i'm in the middle of my "Total Money Makeover" w/ Dave Ramsey & working on getting out of debt. i do a lot of nickel & strip quilts because the cutting is so fast.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I too have trouble with a rotary cutter, getting the right pressure or angle is so tiring on my wrists, this surely would help me get to sewing faster and my blocks will be perfect! Life couldn't get any better!

    ReplyDelete
  100. I love the applique dies, especially the feathers! This would increase my accuracy and cutting speed ... I might even be able to finish something I start!

I think this will inspire my creations by giving me the freedom to try new things! I am a newbie and am of course very limited in what I can do right now. I think this fabulous tool would help me to make the most beautiful projects! Thank you GO! AccuQuilt for the wonderful give away!

  104. I just found your Blog and I'm really enjoying it. I would early like to win the Go cutter. I have a hard time with holding the rulers still while I cut and I waste fabric. I do get to sew with my sister and my niece about once a month and I'm sure all 3 of us would really enjoy using the GO and we could get more done. Thanks for the give away. Now on to reading more of the blog. Thanks

  105. At the store (JoAnn's) I figured I didn't need such a machine, but after reading your blog....I think I need it. It would be helpful in making many small appique items for the charity quilts that I make.

  106. Done and done! I posted this lovely giveaway to my blog (I hope it's okay that it's a privet blog that I posted it on).

    ReplyDelete
  107. WOW!! All I'm saying is WOW jaw on the floor!! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  108. New tools always bring inspiration with them. The Go!AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter would be no exception. Thanks for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Wow great giveaway and great site. I have always had problems with curves. Creativity is limited with all straight lines. To be able to have all the curves smooth and pieces match together I must be dreaming. Love the clips too.

    ReplyDelete
  110. What a wonderful thing for a great gift. Whoever wins this will be really impressed!

    ReplyDelete
  111. The question really should be how could it NOT inspire me! Oh the quilts that could be made with this...I hate cutting out appliquƩ shapes! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  112. SPEECHLESS!

I saw the AccuQuilt Cutter box Saturday and was so tempted - I wanted it SO BAD but also wanted to see some demonstrations before making a commitment.

I didn't dream there were so many special shapes. I love the wedding wreath. So beautiful.

And it is so wonderful to read that others "just sometimes" cut and try so hard to be so accurate and then find out, "WHAT HAPPENED to THOSE PERFECT CUTS!" It just drives me crazy. I know only God makes perfection. :-) but I think ACCUQUILT might just be CLOSE.

PS. I must be stupid. I scrolled through the previous day's post on the buttons and pin cushions. I don't have a clue what your PS meant. Sorry - too much work today.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Well, it will make piecing so much easier when everything is accurately cut. I would try curves and things I normally wouldn't try. Very anxious to see the video....I don't have much knowledge of these machines.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I have always said I wish someone would come up with a machine to cut my fabric for me. I used a simular machine when doing scrapbooking. This would certainly speed up the cutting so that you can get to the fun part of sewing the pieces together and watching your creation come to life.

    ReplyDelete
  115. AccuQuilt would be a wonderful inspiration because of all the great shapes and sizes it would allow me to do with total accuracy. What a wonderful giveaway. Thanks for the chance to win this fantastic prize!!

  116. wow, this is so fantastic. How nice would it be to have squared up quilts! It could happen if I had this beauty!!!

    ReplyDelete
  117. I hate to cut out fabric and as a result am never thrilled to start a new project because it all starts with cutting. The AccuQuilt Go would take a lot of the "chore" out of getting started. And who couldn't be inspired by all the great shapes!

Thank you for sponsoring such a generous giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  118. I think the AccuQuilt would fabulous. Often times the thought of cutting out accurate shapes intimidates me from trying more complex quilts. This would banish all those hesitations. What a wonderful prize.

    ReplyDelete
  119. What a WONDERFUL prize...cutting circle for applique would be a dream with this...mine are always a bit wobbly when doing it by hand...both in cotton and wool...

    ReplyDelete
  120. What a wonderful prize! Thanks for the opportunity to win.

The ruler ALWAYS slips! The rotary cutter always has a nick in the blade. Come on! I NEED this!

    ReplyDelete
  121. I think having the AccuQuilt GO! would help me do more applique! I like applique, but it's such a pain to sit there and cut out all the shapes. Awesome giveaway!

  122. What an amazing machine! Wow, could it make me a neater quilter with points that meet and squares that are really squares. I use a rotary cutter but the ruler usually slips about 1/8 inch anyway. This is a great prize and I would realllllllyyyyy love to win.
    Thanks for offering it.

  124. Inspiration from the Go! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter would come from the beautiful accurate die-cut shapes! So round, so square, so just-right pointy! I'd feel like a professional! And ALL my quilts would be beautiful!

    ReplyDelete
  125. I think it would inspire me to create more quilts. I find I cut out all of my blocks by rotary cutter and it's always a big job. Also it is a bit more painful now as I am getting older. So I take a break in betweeen larger quilts and make smaller items--less cutting! Thanks for the chance to win one of these niffty gizmos! Sharonj.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I have just really started being able to get my seams to match perfectly and get everything nice a neat so this would really inspire me to do things even better and I would love to be able to cut out shapes that are a little different but so neat

    ReplyDelete
  127. The Go! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter would help so much with my accuracy. I have a bad right hand which makes cutting fabrics a challenge for me.

Thank you for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  128. Wow, How generous of AccuQuilt. Thank you!! I want to do a raw edge quilt with layered flowers on it. This wonderful machine would be perfect.

    ReplyDelete
  129. I would love to have one of these. I have only been making quilts with squares and would love to venture out, but haven't had the nerve. I want to do a simple quilt (squares or strips) and then applique flowers, etc. on it. This would help me with those appliques. Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  130. How would this help my creativity? In so many ways I can't even count. For instance, I didn't know you could cut the feathers for the wreath you have pictured on your post. I LOVE that! Also, I've been really wanting to do try some hand-piecing and having all my pieces exactly the right size would be a big help. I would really love to win this!

    ReplyDelete
  131. I know that having the GO! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter will inspire my creations because it will make preparing quilts so much faster, easier and more accurately! This is a great giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  132. If I had the GO Cutter in my studio, I would be able to concentrate on my designs rather than my wrists. Using the rotary cutter for any length of time does cause a flare up of pain in my wrists. So when I cut, it take me a long time to get it done. The GO would let me get that part done easily and quickly... then onto the fun part of piecing and quilting!! I'd love to make a Rhapsody quilt a la Ricky with the new dies!!

    ReplyDelete
  133. Here's my comment on the Accuquilt post of 4/12.

I want, I want!! I have really bad arthritis in my hands (five surgeries in last 1 1/2 years to fuse joints. Have drooled over Accuquilt in one of our local shops and talked with them about price for cutting a zillion squares or whatever sometime.

I don't have a blog or facebook or any of that stuff. But we have quilt guild tonight and I can have an announcement made!! That will reach probably 150 people tonight and more when the minutes come out!! Will this do for 10 more entries?

What a great thing you are doing!! I'm going to need to go back a few months and read your blog and get to know you and what you have to say and think!!

Congratulations on your one year anniversary!

  134. OH WOW.. I can see being able to cut shapes that aren't straight lines, AND repeat it the same to make symmetry easy! Plus the Go! cutter would make my squares and rectangles all exact not to mention MUCH Faster - and I can spend the time and effort on creativity!
I will be waiting for this magic device to show up at my door!
As Major Nelson would say "Thank you Jeannie" (yeah I know it is really Kelly - but well, that just didn't work LOL)

  135. I would really like to have an AccuQuilt GO....because I KNOW it will help me get my points to match up better than they do now!!! I have worked very hard with my quarter inch seams and have even changed threads to a thinner thread to help make everything line up....still I have issues. I think the GO cutter will help so much And I just love the new applique you showed from Ricky Tims....Thank you IHAN and AccuQuilt

  136. I am the original small piece quilter - I'm alway making quilts with zillions of small triangles or hexagons or squares or something. The GO! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter would definitely be a bonus tool for me. And thank you AccuQuilt for your generosity.

    ReplyDelete
  137. A friend who has one of these has let me play with it a little. I have some mobility issues, and this lets me cut for hours without pain. I love it, and would love to own one. I'm so glad she directed me to this blog. I'm very excited--I look forward to following it.

  138. Wow - what a fabulous give away - thank you IHAN & AccuQuilt! If I were to win, I'd do a lot more applique - I love, love, love that feather wreath - it might have to be a starter project for me! Jan in AZ

  139. Cutting patchwork pieces is the hardest part of quilting for me. I, too, can carefully cut dozens of pieces, all the same size, but end up with a good number of pieces that are NOT the size I tried to cut them. Thanks for having a give away!

    ReplyDelete
  140. Instead of fretting about cutting correct sized pieces continously, getting sore wrists and dull blades, you just put them on the accuquilt! Now that leaves tons of time and positive energy for inspiration and creativity!

    ReplyDelete
  141. I have always wanted to be more accurate in my cutting. The Go by AccuQuilt would be a dream come true. And I could share it with my mother a 78 year young quilter who loves to try new notions....

    ReplyDelete
  142. I am just learning applique after being absolutly petrified and frozen beause of it. I would love to make that easir and since I have yet to (nor expect to) see a new sewing machine being given away, (my current one does not to anything other than forward, backward, and zig-zag stitches but I still love it!) the accucute would help so much!

I also HATE triangles of any sort, this might make it much easier and make the triangles more percise so there's less of a marin of error!!

    ReplyDelete
  143. Wow! What a fantastic giveaway! Any quilter would be happy to win the AccuQuilt GO! cutter. Also, I enjoyed your comments on the accuracy of the cutter. Thanks.

What would I do with it ? Well for starters I wouldn't shy away from more difficult patterns or designs cause I think it is too much cutting.
I would cut up tons and tons of the same shape in all different colours and make a fantastic quilt. Oh, how fun just to enter,
    thank you!

  153. Boy, with a GO! AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter what couldn't I do? The sky's the limit! The first thing I think of is being able to applique with ease. Of course, I do agree with Kelly and the frustration of ending up with squares that are not all the same size. What I time and fabric saver that would be.

  154. Whoa!!!! This is an amazing giveaway!!! What a phenomenal tool for the quilting world. I know for me, cutting out things like this sometimes is a deal breaker. I think with something like this, the possibilities are endless, but quicker! :)

  157. Wow! The Go! can do lots of fast cutting for poor hands that don't like the rottary cutter any more.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Personally, I love how quilts with triangles look, but I am terrified of cutting them because I know I'll mess them up...and matching corners is a lot trickier with triangles than squares...so I think I would be able to branch out beyond the skinny strips and squares and do so much more!
Or I would give it to my MIL, and she would love me forever! :)

    ReplyDelete
  159. The possibilities are endless with the go cutter! I would love to win the one! I hope it will be my lucky day! I participated in Karen spy fabric swap and I know what you mean. Everybody cuts different.

  164. My, my my! What a great giveaway prize. I would love to be the winner of this cutter. It would come in very handy for the projects that start with "cut 252 of this template", like the quilt I made last year and had such trouble with despite what I too thought was careful cutting. I'm just about to cut 180 squares of two different fabrics for my daughter's quilt. That cutter would come in very handy just now.

    ReplyDelete
  165. I like to make things with different size hexagons and I have a circle quilt in the planning stages. The Accuquilt will surely make those easier and more accurate! What a great offer!

  168. Awesome - the Go is the best - accurate cuts, lots of project sheets, and great customer service. Not affliated with them - just a very happy customer. The new dies are so exciting and I love how they keep coming out with more and more dies for the Go. As someone who is challenged with rotary cutting, I really appreciate not only the accuracy but the safety ! Thanks for sponsoring such a great giveaway !

Ok, if I had a Go! Accuquilt Fabric Cutter, I could do so much more! I could work through my stash, I could take more orders for commissioned pieces, so I could have time to make quilts for my own kids! Living in a country were quilting is not known I feel a great obligation to educate women especially about the virtues of the gentle arts. And I love to see children's jaws fall open when they realize that there is such a thing as 'homemade with love, just for you'.

  188. Hi I would love this... thanks so much for making it possible. I am a busy Mum of 5 kids and work full time, but I still like to sew, esepcially quilts. I think this machine would radically change how much quilting I could do - and make it more pleasureable - less of that 'orrible 'negative stitching'. When my kids are all grown up, I may be able to afford one, but that is a few years away yet. So, to win one would be fantastic. regards

  189. Oh, wow, this is an incredible giveaway! Having a GO! 193. My grandmother was an amazing quilter, she cut all these tiny little pieces by hand and made the most beautiful quilts - she passed away last year and I'm fairly certain that this fabric cutter is my only shot at making quilts even! I know it would inspire me to keep quilting!

    ReplyDelete
  194. I'm such a crappy cutter - I need the Go Accuquilt to make my pieces line up as neat as can be, so my quilts will look so much better than they do now! Please pick meeeee!

  195. I have a dress from the 40's that belonged to my friend's grandmother, and I so want to incorporate it into a quilt for her! I've been wanting to do Apple Cores since before I actually started quilting, and the cutter could make that a reality and make the Grandma's Dress fabric into a lovely keepsake.

  196. I would love to win this. I think it would be used in my own quilting to help me better accurately cut out shapes as well as used for donated quilts to charity orginizations. There is also a woman in town who I am good friends with that teaches 25 girls every week to quilt. What a blessing it would be to share this with her. I did post this on my twitter account.http://twitter.com/bveinotte

    ReplyDelete
  197. Oh this would inspire my quilting because it would take the frustration and intimidation away from accurate cutting. Right now it seems that the cutting part seems to take me longer than anything else. I am pretty sure with such a fabulous machine I would be willing to branch out and try new designs. Thanks for the chance to win.
