Where in the World...Day 2....:)

I'm going to keep this charade going....just for today.
Yes...I did crop the photo to remove the license plate....being menopausal is one thing...being stupid is another...LOL.

After seeing this amazing view....I went here ...

And it was closed today.  Sometimes it is important to check the hours of operation.  Then....there are those days/times when it doesn't matter that I traveled a long distance to see a place that is closed......because of the time spent with a special person along the way.   Have you ever had one of those days/experiences?
After noticing the Museum was closed.... I enjoyed a wonderful lunch with the lovely person who's reflection is in the Museum photo above this one.  Hmmmmm....can you guess who it was?

Those are the only clues for today.  Tomorrow I'll reveal where I am ( I know I said on Sat...but trust me...there will be even more giveaways and it will be more fun this way :)

Giggles, Snickers, and Smiles,
Kelly

  1. Okay if it isn't Hawaii then I'm going to guess that it is somewhere in southern California - where it's hot but close to the ocean. Wish I knew the country better :)

  2. You are in sunny San Diego. If you have time go back go Visions, there's also a Watercolor Society gallery in the same complex worth a visit as well.

  3. I googled the museum and came up with San Diego, California.
As an Aussie I have no idea but I am hoping.

  8. Giving us the name of the museum was your mistake. It can be Googled. San Diego.

  9. Scruffiness, freeway and ocean can only mean California and San Diego is where that museaum is located. Have fun!

  17. You are in San Diego, the Zoo is my favorite place in the world! Sorry the museum was closed...but now you know where it is for the next time!
My husband(my special travel companion) likes to just head out and take the road less traveled...so it often leads to"alone time" for us-albeit in the car!

  23. San Diego - wais it one of my choices day one or whenever. I like Old Town San Diego, Mexican food, La Jolla...

Sewcalgal - your are right they are eucalypts/gum trees which like anything introduced grow like weeds in CA.
Bottlebrush (because flowers look like them) or Callistemon remembering waking up, going down to breakfast there was a bottlebrush turn 180 there was a gum tree. Very confusing had to keep reminding self in CA, in CA. USA. It was San Diego.
